Well, it is that time of year when we all are rushing around planning our holiday parties. I found these great little candles that will give your holiday cocktail party a special look.

These decorative candles can be found at Party Favor Mall along with some great party favors.
I was in the doctors office reading the People magazine from October 22, 2007 and saw that Ashlee Simpson had an 80s Prom Night Theme Birthday Party. …I thought, “What a great party planning idea!”
Of course, being the party for Ashlee Simpson, Jessica Simpson was there with the big hair and 1980s prom dress. The pictures were cute.
This would be a great party idea for a sweet sixteen party, a 21st birthday party, or really any party! Party decorations and party supplies are easy. Decorate the room with streamers and a disco ball, get an couple of 80’s premixed cds and you are ready. …You can find some great 80s prom dresses in thrift stores for cheap.

This past weekend I had the opportunity to assist a great organization get the word out on a very cool concept at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. The Speedway Children’s Charity has a way for you to become a permanent part of NASCAR . The Winners’ Wall is located at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC, Texas Motor Speedway, Infineon Raceway in California, and Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
This is one of the coolest things I have ever heard of. How cool would it be to get your family or group that you go to the races with to be a permanent part of one of these five amazing tracks! …AND you get an 8×10 of your picture in granite!
This is a picture of the wall in Atlanta with our wonderful helper, also known as the Coolest Kid on the Planet!
Check out the Winners’ Wall and get your place in history. There are limited numbers of tiles available, so get yours today.

GO PENN STATE!!!
vs.
Penn State is playing Michigan today and I have to miss the game. My son is playing his own football game today.
I am a born and raised Michigan girl who converted to a Penn State fan when I moved to Pennsylvania about 6 years ago. This game is the toughest game for me to watch. I have an internal fight inside, but alway scream for Penn State!

Tonight while I was talking with some friends I heard a great party idea! Chocolate Covered Cherries with a twist.
My mouth started to water while we were discussing these.
First, drain a jar of maricno cherries. Then soak them in grain alcohol over night. Again, drain and let dry.
Melt Hersheys Chocolate over low heat or in a warmer. Dip the alcohol soaked cherries in the chocolate and let cool on wax paper.
Tada!!! A perfect addition to your party with an added kick!
This is the perfect drink for the fall season.
What you will need:

1 ½ shots of Blue Curacao
½ shot of Spiced Rum Or Brandy
Bringing it all together:
Mix all ingredients together and serve in a chilled glass. This drink can also be served warm for those cold fall nights.
