Babies, Babies, Babies!

It seems like everytime I turn around I am hearing about someone new expecting a baby… How great for them all! I love planning babyshowers, and loved the theme for one I went to recently.

On the invitation, ask everyone to bring a onsie with them. You will be amazed at the cute sayings and designs that they come in.

Buy a couple packages of children’s hangers. If you don’t know the sex of the baby, they do have white and neutral colored ones. You can also use clothes pins.
Hang a clothesline across the room to hang each of the onsies as the guests arrive. (Instant decoration!)

You can get these great baby shower favors at Party Favor Mall. They continue the theme of the party.

BabyShower Ideas

Today I went to a babyshower and they had a great idea that I wanted to share.

On the invitations,  everyone was asked to bring an unwrapped bib with them.  So, I went shopping for a bib, which ended with 5.  There are so many cute baby bibs, how do you pick only one!  When we arrived at the party, there was a clothes line hung across the livingroom that each person would hang their bib on.  This was an instant unique decoration and if you have kids, you know you can never have too many bibs.

This would also work great with onsies too.

*Another little baby shower idea:  Have a basket of thank you note envelopes on a table at the door.  Have each person sign in with their name and address on the envelopes.  …Instant pre-addressed thank you notes for the mommy-to-be!
