Why not a Sexy Lingerie Party?

I recently hosted a Sexy Lingerie Party for a friend of mine who is getting married over the holidays.  It was a great time.  I will walk you through how I planned the party and what we decided to do.

The party I hosted was a surprise party. Our first step was to get her to the party. Second, we had to find out her sizes without her knowing. Now I am sure she would have been a bit curious if I asked her what size of bra and panties she wore, so we had to investigate a little.  I asked her fiancé to do some spy work for me, and once he found out why I needed the sizes and what the theme of the party was, he was happy to help.

Once we had that initial task completed and a date set, we started to send out the invitations.  I used Evite for my invites.  It was easy to use and gave me a count of who was coming.  When planning your guest list take some time and think of who you are inviting and let them know the theme so no one is embarrassed.  We invited all the girls from the office, plus the wives of the men that worked there.  Don’t forget the wives of friends and family.

The next step is to plan the menu.  What are we going to eat and drink?  Wine is always a good place to start with a group of girls getting together.  *Make sure you have a white wine and a red wine to chose from.  Also have non-alcoholic drinks available.  Our party was later in the evening, so we decided to just have some snacks.  Veggies, cheese and crackers and some fruit.  Nothing extravagant, but it was still perfect!

We found some cute “girly” party supplies and we were ready to party!  Paperplates, napkins, and some flowers for a centerpiece.

Don’t forget the party favors to send your guests home with.  I personally like the “Wish Upon A Star” Bottle Stopper that I found at Party Favor Mall.

And, as always, be safe!  Make sure you have planned a designated driver for anyone who may have had a few too many glasses of wine.
